Partially-sighted Karabo can finally go to school after some Angel help
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
Romans's Pizza and Good Morning Angels gave partially sighted Karabo the opportunity to finally go to school!
Karabo, 21, has an exciting opportunity to got to school - and he wants to grab it with both hands!
He loves to work with his hands and enjoys art and woodwork. Karabo has been with Lambano Sanctuary since he was two years old.
Lambano Sanctuary is a facility in Germiston that supports children with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses and their families.
They help with life skills and education to ensure these children live a full life. The staff at Lambano are very excited that Karabo has been accepted at the Johannesburg Society For The Blind School in 2024.
He has an incredible opportunity to receive the education and support necessary to enhance his literacy skills; to learn to read and write, enriching his life, and opening doors to a brighter future. However, the school fees for the year are R26,800, which is beyond what they can fund.
They believe Karabo's potential is boundless, and with the proper education and care, he can achieve great things. That's why they reached out to Good Morning Angels.
