Beautiful news about a man removing the stigma of HIV and AIDS!
Updated | By Danny Painter
When Charlie Jacobs was diagnosed as HIV positive, he refused to accept it. He refused medication and spent the next eight years spiraling out of control.
It took the fear of death to make him take his life and his health into his own hands and turn things around - which he did!
But, he wasn't satisfied with just changing his life, he wanted to change the lives of everyone - especially children - living with HIV and AIDS. Entering Mr Gay South Africa, he used his platform to 'come out' publicly and launch an initiative called The Charlies Positive Angels Project, where he gives back to Nkosi's Haven through the sales of T-shirts designed by the children!

Our Friends at Beautiful News recently published a documentary on Charlie and his project, which you can watch here.
