Chester Bennington's family speak out after his suicide
Updated | By Danny Painter
The world shook almost a year ago when Chester Bennington, frontman for Linkin Park, committed suicide.
In the months that followed, we've seen a number of seemingly happy celebrities take their lives with families and friends left reeling, saying "we had no idea they were depressed or unhappy".
In a video shared to Facebook page 'Now this is news' Chesters wife and sister are speaking out about the hidden mental illness that is taking so many lives. His wife Talinda Bennington shares in the video "depression doesn't have a face, my husband was at his prime, he was at his best, he did not look suicidal, he did not look depressed.."
Think you can't give your family the house of their dreams? Think again!

More recently we've lost fashion designer Kate Spade and celebrity Chef Anthony Bourdain, both within a month of each other. Both to suicide. Both "seemed happy".
These deaths have led to a movement from celebrities and non-celebrities alike to bring awareness to the rising issue of depression and suicide.
