Can you be together and believe in different religions?

I was raised in a home with three religions; mine and my brother's Catholic school one, my father's Buddhist one, and my mother's Jewish one. I have seen first hand that love has no boundaries, not even in faith.

How do interfaith couples navigate the normal relationship storms when they don't even turn to the same spiritual guides?
According to the Huffington Post, there are some key points; respect, communicate, celebrate, practice inclusiveness, learn about your partners faith, and, most importantly, practice the religion of loving.
