International chef Jackie Cameron is all about building a
legacy. She chats to Danny Painter about her culinary school where she trains
chefs.

Chef Jackie Cameron has cooked for thousands of people around the world.
Her talent has seen her feature on several international cooking shows.
She has also written best-selling cookbooks and was head chef of some of the best restaurants in the country.
But although Cameron enjoys cooking and is one of South Africa’s most acclaimed chefs, the star believes her calling goes deeper than just creating delicious meals.

She is determined to live a lasting impact by producing more award-winning chefs like her.
Cameron is no longer just focused on serving food, but skill. She is the founder of the Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine in the picturesque KwaZulu-Natal midlands.
Her students are trained for 18 months and receive an internationally-recognised certification.
