One of the most-loved Afrikaans singers in South Africa is Janie Bay.
The 25-year-old, who hails from Cape Town, became popular after releasing her song, 'I Remember', in 2011.
She has released three number one hits to date. Some of her popular songs are ‘Ek Glo Nog In Jou’ and ‘My Lief’.
The singer has performed on both local and international stages.
Bay has scored several collaborations with big stars, including Jack Parow and Bouwer Bosch.

The folk-pop star is one of the favourites on Jacaranda FM.
Speaking about her latest album, ‘Prisma’, the singer said the songs are about hope, love, and loss.
“I felt closer to people during the making of this album. The songs are personal, but also an expression of what we are going through as a collective, and I hope that everyone that listens will enjoy it,” she told Jacaranda FM in July.
