This story has such a happy ending - it made a judge cry
Sad beginnings don't always have happy endings, but this one does! So happy, in fact, it made a court judge cry!
After numerous failed attempts to conceive, Eric and Phyllis Watson decided that fostering with a possible future adoption was the way to go.
Little did they know, their family of two was about to become a family of six!
In 2015, the couple received permission to become foster parents, expecting to foster a single child. Not in their wildest dreams could they have foreseen that they would become parents of four teenagers overnight! The very next day an agency contacted them asking if they'd be willing to take on four siblings!
Speaking to the Charlotte Observer Dad, Eric said: “We were thinking one foster child at a time. Maybe two? We weren’t thinking four at once.” But, the couple accepted and two and a half years later, in March this year, the four kids officially became Watsons! Even bringing the judge thank you cards and flowers!
