Another potentially fatal TikTok challenge hits the internet
Another day, another dangerous social media challenge is taking the internet by storm.
If the 'Skull-Breaker Challenge' was dangerous, then this is terrifying! A new TikTok trend that encourages drivers to swerve all over the road in time with some music has emerged.
The ‘Cha-Cha Slide Challenge' involves teens driving recklessly to the beat of the stunt’s namesake dance anthem which was first released 20 years ago by DJ Casper aka Mr. C The Slide Man.
The driver turns the steering wheel in the direction of a corresponding lyric. So each time that Casper belts out the lyric “slide to the left!”, the driver swerves into the oncoming traffic lane.

Despite the obvious risks, TikTok users are participating in a potentially fatal challenge. In the videos, participants can be heard laughing in excitement as the car swerves in different directions.
