Carter High pupil beats up two adults in school yard
A video has gone viral showing two adults being attacked by a high school pupil.
The attack happened at Carter High School in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.
The school has now laid charges against the two adults, who are not parents at the school.
“The school, including parents, have laid criminal charges against two female individuals who are not parents of this school and who decided to confront learners of this school with the intent to become violent,” Carter High school learner’s affairs officer Johan de Goede told Public Eye Maritzburg.

The attack caused a stir on social media, with many condemning the adults’ behavior.
Facebook user Phumlani PG Ngongoma wrote, “These two ADULTS came to attack a kid at her own school. On the video she is even telling them that they too old for her...and They were the 1st to attack and hit her...so she defended her self...was she suppose to watch them beating her??? Nah!! ONLY PUNKS WOULD DO THAT!!!”.
Lucille Jooste added: “ Good on her! What right did the ADULT have to hit her!! She was defending herself. I can promise heads would roll if I found another parent ASSAULTING my child!”
