Hijackings are a reality for most of us and we can't seem to avoid them. An eight-year-old named Chance is being hailed a hero for saving himself and his sister during a hijacking in Middleton, Ohio.
A video that was shared on social media shows the eight-year-old boy pulling his 10-year-old sister to safety from their car after it was stolen by a hijacker. Chance and his sister, Skylar, were targeted as they sat in the car after their grandmother, Nita Coburn, 69, drove their mom to an emergency room in their town on Thursday.

The elderly woman had gotten out of her car to assist her ill daughter into a wheelchair, leaving the children in the car. While she was busy with the patient, the alleged abductor, Dalvir Singh, took his chance and stole their car with the children inside. As he drove away, the quick-thinking boy opened the door and pulled his sister to safety.
Apparently, while he was pulling his sister out, the hijacker attempted to keep Skylar in the car by pulling her hoodie, but the little boy managed to free his sister from the hijacker's grip.
