Hospital “accidentally” used toilet water as drinking water for 30 years

When
you go to the hospital you expect the food to be bad, but you would think the water
would at least be clean. Eww!
A Japanese hospital based in Osaka has recently discovered that they were “accidentally” using toilet water as drinking water for the past 30 years!

Apparently, some of the water pipes on the campus were set up incorrectly so that they were connected to the toilets.
This huge mess up was only discovered when the hospital decided to assess things for a revamp and add a new building.
Even though patients and staff have been using this water for drinking, dish washing, and gargling, no health issues have been reported.

When the news spread it caused thousands of people to feel anxious about such a big health issue. The director had to issue an apology to all past and present patients and staff for such an egregious error,
