Residents of Johannesburg will need to start treading lightly when it comes to ignoring noise complaint warnings.
If you do not comply with a request to turn down your music after law officials have warned you, you could soon find yourself without your sound system.

The Johannesburg municipality has advised that a fine will first be issued to those not complying with requests to turn down their sound.

If they fail to listen, the Johannesburg Metro Police will send out officials to confiscate the sound system.
