King Charles tries to speak South African languages

During
President Ramaphosa’s state visit to the UK, King Charles made a memorable
effort to greet him.

President Ramaphosa travelled to the UK on state business, and during the state banquet, King Charles greeted the president.

In the video, you see the King and President seated next to each other while the King stands to deliver his speech.
King Charles greets the president by calling him ‘Ramafosa’, and then he attempted to greet him using multiple South African languages.

While the King mangled most of the words, Ramaphosa seemed unfazed and kept saying ‘wow’ as each greeting was said.
