Mom tries to abandon child at a supermarket

A California mother has been arrested after she allegedly left her daughter at a supermarket.

According to reports the girl wandered off while she was shopping with her mother. When she went to pay for her shopping then left without her. She then told another shopper ‘just leave her’ when they tried to bring the two-year-old back to her.

The girl was found wandering alone at around 5pm at the store and was taken into care. She later identified her mother on the CCTV as ‘mommy’.
