#MondayMotivation: Wayde van Niekerk’s inspirational video
Updated | By Poelano Malema
What better inspiration than Olympic champion Wayde van Niekerk who on Sunday won the 400m at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in a stunning time of 43.03?

In his Adidas ad, “Speed Takes Dreams”, Van Niekerk talks about what it took for him to be where he is today. It starts by believing you have it in you to win.
“I’ve been watching athletics all my life and I always thought I had it in me, the ability to compete against the world’s best,” he said.

He then went on to add that in order to continue to the finish race, one must remove the barriers. “For me, speed is everything. I try and get out of my comfort zone, break whichever limit and barriers I have for myself. Just do the job, and get to the finish line as soon as possible,” he added.
