A woman who killed six of her children has now told her pen pal boyfriend she hopes to have more kids.
A mother who killed six of her children now wants to have another child, Mamamia News reported. Mairead Philpott, 34, made news in 2013 when she and her husband, Mick Philpott, killed six of her children in a house fire. Philpott, who is now serving 17 years in prison for the crime, has reportedly found new love and is planning to have children.
The Sun reports that in a letter Philpott wrote to her new found love from prison, she reportedly said she is ready to marry him and start a new family with him. "When I'm 100 per cent sure then yes I will, I think you would be a fantastic dad. I would marry again and it will be you - I don't want anyone but you. I think you could be the one I’ve been looking for for years and never found but I’ve found you now so I’m happy," she allegedly wrote.
She reportedly added that she cannot wait to be intimate with him. "I promise you won't be disappointed [sic] lol you will just have to wait and see baby lol I’m not saying anymore because I can’t do anything about the urge I’m getting...I just hope that we can both be happy together in the future - I think we were destined to meet each other," she added.
According to reports, for the first time since the death of her children, Philpott has expressed remorse for the crime, and told her lover she thinks about her children every day.
“Talking about my children is something I haven’t come to terms with. It’s still too raw. They are the first thing I think about every single day I wake up and the last thing I think about when I go to bed. But I’m working through it and have amazing friends here trying to help me. They live with me every day. They are my babies,” she wrote.
