North Korea has banned mullet hairstyles, skinny jeans, and slogan shirts!

Some of us cannot imagine never wearing skinny jeans again!
North Korea has decided to ban skinny jeans, mullet hairstyles, and lip piercings.
Leader and dictator Kim Jong-un has unveiled the country's latest crackdown on fashion and trends, and hopes citizens will avoid replicating what he refers to as "exotic western lifestyles".

Apart from what was listed above, ripped jeans, slogan t-shirts. and nose rings have also been banned.
According to reports, the ruling was revealed in the North Korean newspaper Rondong Sinmun.
"History teaches us a crucial lesson that a country can become vulnerable and eventually collapse like a damp wall regardless of its economic and defence power if we do not hold on to our own lifestyle," the article read.

"We must be wary of even the slightest sign of the capitalistic lifestyle and fight to get rid of them."
Citizens in North Korea have a list of 15 approved haircuts to pick from when they visit the salon.
List of other things that are banned in North Korea:
- Blue jeans
- No access to the World Wide Web or Wi-Fi
- Foreigners can't use their local currency
- You cannot buy real estate in North Korea
- It's almost impossible to buy a car because it's too expensive
- You cannot take a hot shower at home
- No McDonald's
- No Coca-Cola in the shop
- You cannot buy religious literature
- You cannot buy condoms or feminine hygiene products
