Parachute failure causes base jumpers to crash into each other
Now this puts the ‘extreme’ into extreme sports!
Professional base jumper, Mateo Massoni, shared a video of a heart-ponding accident at a recent base jump.

In the video, you see three base jumpers take their turns leaping off a platform towards a lake, and when they near the bottom, they release their parachutes.
Or at least that was the plan, as one of the base jumpers’ parachutes failed to deploy, making him crash into another jumper.

Despite the incredibly dangerous moment, the jumpers managed to land in the safe areas of the lake, and Masoni confirmed that all were safe and healthy.
