Passengers miraculously escape taxi swept into KwaZulu-Natal river

Four people had a lucky escape when the taxi they were travelling in was swept into a flooded river.
The incident took place in KwaZulu-Natal after heavy rainfall in the area on Wednesday.
According to reports, the taxi had been travelling along the Barnsley Road, in the Camps Drift area of Pietermaritzburg.
In the video, the occupants can be seen climbing out of the taxi while the vehicle gets swept away in the heavy current. At one point, one of the passengers could also be seen floating away with the water. All four passengers survived and were treated for minor scrapes and cuts, except for one female passenger who had suffered hyperthermia.
