A post made on Reddit has been gaining traction amongst South Africans because it shows how tourists view our living expenses.

The person who made the post decided to show off just how much stuff you can get on a grocery haul in South Africa.
The post says that they spent $75 (R1,300) and managed to get way more than they could in their home country.

Some people brought up that the amount they got would not actually be enough for a family: “Although that looks like a lot, unless it's for a couple without kids that's not going to last that long sadly…”
