Julie Anne Genter, a member of parliament in New Zealand, has gone viral for cycling to hospital while in labour.

She said that she didn’t intend on cycling to the hospital while in labour, but the contractions started speeding up while they were on the way.
The good news is that her daughter was born safely, and she has since lauded the hospital staff for taking such good care of her.

People who saw the post Genter made on Facebook were quick to give their congratulations, with one person saying: “Oh lovely news. What a perfect way to welcome this little one into the world”.
