Popular food chain responds to rat video
Now this is something you don't see everyday. A video shared on TikTok has caused quite a stir. In the video, you can see a rat getting comfortable with a raw packet of chicken.
In the video shared by @TeboShale, the rat is seen in the freezer inside a pack of chicken. It is an unbelievable site, and Tebo zooms in on the rat.

However, the store in Gardens in Cape Town has since responded to the video, stating: "With the help of an independent auditor and our pest control partner, various immediate actions were taken. These include a deep cleaning of the affected areas and enhancements to the store's perimeter. We are also working closely with centre management and our landlord."

Tebo made a follow-up video explaining what happened in the store and advised that the food chain contacted her after the incident.
