The power of nature shown in impala's battle with predators
An impala tried to free itself from a hyena despite having a chunk of its body eaten.
The heartbreaking footage was shared on the Latest Sightings YouTube channel in April.
In the video, the hyena can be seen taking down the impala before eating it alive.
The poor animal still managed to get up with half its body already eaten.
As soon as it was up on its feet, it tried to fight the hyena off and run away.
The heartbreaking scene ends with the impala being dragged back into the grass and killed by a pack of wild dogs.

A young cheetah could also be seen waiting a short distance away for leftovers.
