Principal warns: Parents, no pyjamas to my school!

Certain parents in Britain reportedly see nothing wrong with dropping their children off at school wearing pyjamas. The situation has got to the point of a principal issuing a warning to parents against the trend.
Pyjamas are meant to be worn for sleeping, or at least worn inside the house (or so many of us thought), but it seems to some people, they are just another set of clothes.
According to reports, certain parents in Britain see nothing wrong with dropping their children off at school wearing pyjamas. However, as expected, this trend put some parents off. It even led to the principal of one of the schools, Skerne Park Academy, releasing a warning statement to parents.
The principal, Kate Chisholm, reportedly released a Public Service Announcement (PSA) saying that wearing pyjamas to school was banned as it set a bad example to the learners.
The letter read: “I have noticed there has been an increasing tendency for parents to escort children to and from school while still wearing their pyjamas and, on occasion, even slippers. Could I please ask that when you are escorting your children, you take the time to dress appropriately in daywear that is suitable for the weather conditions. We are trying to raise standards and get better outcomes for the children and we noticed a lot of the parents are turning up to school as well as meetings and assemblies wearing pyjamas, if we’re to raise standards it’s not too much to ask parents to have a wash and get dressed.”
In an interview with On Demand News, Chisholm claimed parents would even go to the extent of wearing pyjamas to parents meetings and Christmas parties: “To get to that routine where mom and dad are dressed in the morning and you get ready for school, and you come in and you are ready, ready to learn, I think it sets a really good routine for children for the future and for their future sort of,” Chisholm said in the interview.
Her warning went viral on social media, with some parents agreeing, whilst others saw absolutely nothing wrong with it. However, Chisholm claimed to have lots of support from the community.
