Restaurant owner pays it forward and gets second chance

Life is a wheel that turns, and once in a while we all need some mercy and kindness.
One restaurant owner in Edmonton understood that very well, and when a hungry man came asking for free food, he did not hesitate to help.
According to MacKenzie Brandvold, a young woman who visited Taweel’s restaurant with her dad, a poor man asked Taweel for food, and to their surprise, Taweel did something out of the ordinary.
"As we were almost done eating, a native man who wasn't in the best shape came in and told the owner he only had so much money. The owners reply, with no hesitation, "if you're hungry, I give you food". This warmed my heart. Not only did he give this man a free meal, he made me realize we can't judge people based on their circumstances," Brandvold wrote on Facebook.
Her post was shared by over 10,000 people and not only did people praise Taweel for his kind heart, they came in their hundreds to support his restaurant, Jumbo Donair.
This for Taweel was the miracle he needed, as he was on the verge of selling his restaurant due to poor patronage and a persistent leg problem.
Well, now it seems his act of kindness has given his business a second chance, as he can now even hire more staff to help.
