Rich vs poor – a social experiment
Updated | By Minenhle Khoza
YouTube personality Johal puts unsuspecting people to the
test with his latest social experiment.
When posed with the question – “What’s more important to you, money or morals?” – most people are quick to name the latter. This is all in theory. In reality, when you are faced with a situation and your moral compass is put to the test, your answer might be something completely different.
In this video, Johal poses as a blind man who needs help reading his winning lottery ticket. He asks people from an upper-class neighbourhood and homeless people from a poor community to help him read the ticket.
While this isn’t a necessarily an accurate indicator of the moral fabric of society, the results are pretty shocking.
