Robbers blow up security glass at Gauteng petrol station
Updated | By Kriya Gangiah
This is something you only see in movies, but it seems to have become a reality.
A video was recently posted on the Intelligence Bureau SA Facebook Page showing robbers trying to get access to the area behind the counters protected by security glass.
The robbers can be seen struggling for a few minutes with crowbars to break open the air/sound vents in the middle of the glass separating the rest of the store from the cashiers.

A few moments later, one of the men in a balaclava places an explosive on the glass. Sparks can be seen building up as the men make a run for safety. A few seconds later, the camera is almost blown off of its hinges as the screen fills with dust and smoke.
The incident occurred at a petrol station in Orange Farm in Gauteng.
