Buzz Aldrin was part of the Apollo 11 crew that landed on the moon, and now at the ripe age of 92, he has decided to part with some of his space memorabilia.

The pieces went up for sale in New York, USA, and some of the pieces sold for millions of Dollars.
One of the items that went on auction was Aldrin’s Apollo 11 jacket that he wore to the moon and back, and it was estimated that it could fetch a whopping R33-million.

Another piece that was expected to go for around R33-million was the flight-saving pen that Aldrin used to do manual calculations and save the crew.
