Selfie stick is the hottest wedding accessory
Updated | By MornéJK
Brides are swopping their bouquets for selfie sticks.
You think you've heard or seen it all? You haven't.
Models at a recent bridal fashion show walked the ramp with crystal-encrusted selfie sticks instead of a bouquet of flowers, according to a report in the New York Post.
The device, which has become a must have item in recent months, is covered in Swarovski crystals and plugs into the bride's phone, giving her a glittery gadget ideal for snapping a mid-aisle duck-face pic, the NY Post wrote.
In September, Dolce & Gabbana models snapped selfies as they walked the runway, with the photos appearing instantly on giant screens at the show.
But the trend was seemingly started by Kendall Jenner who got goofy with a selfie stick for her spread in Vogue Magazine.

Meanwhile Selfie sticks will banned from Disney amusement parks worldwide starting next week, a park official said, according to US news reports.
Park visitors will have to leave their selfie sticks, which people use to take photos of themselves on their cell phones, at the bag check at park entrances and pick them up on their way out.
Managers of a growing number of museums, amusement parks and sports stadiums have also joined the ban of selfie sticks, believing them to be a security risk.
The organizers of this year's Wimbledon tennis tournament, for example, have grouped selfie sticks along with knives, pepper spray and illegal drugs.
