Stunning pictures of the Cape Town thunderstorm you need to see

If you missed the amazing news, Cape Town had a thunderstorm on Tuesday night and photographer Bryn de Kocks captured some incredible photos of the storm.
Thunderstorms are not a common occurrence in Cape Town and the bad news is that this thunderstorm did not bring as much rain as we had hoped.
The photographer, Bryn de Kocks, was quoted in The South African:
“These pictures were taken near Raithby looking NW towards Cape Town. The mountain in the pictures is Table Mountain. There was one storm cell that passed over us, that brought only slight drops of rain that lasted no more than 5 minutes. Was taken around 00:30."
