According to the New York Post, Romulus McNeill from Conway, South Carolina, was walking home when he stepped right into the path of a lightning strike.

The lightning bolt was caught on a surveillance camera, and it shows how close it came to electrocuting him. After the bolt hit the ground, McNeill threw his umbrella in shock. He was lucky to walk away uninjured - and will probably think twice before walking in the rain again.
