Thoughtful thief sends victim a message
Stealing
things is obviously wrong, but this crime weighed heavily on the criminal.
Zweli Thixo shared a post on Twitter explaining how his laptop was stolen, but the thief contacted him to explain why.

In the post, you see that the thief mentions that after he stole the laptop, he noticed that Zweli had been busy with a research proposal.
The thief then explains that he has been struggling to make ends meet and that is why he stole the laptop.

The thief attached Zweli’s proposal and sent it back. He also told him that if he needs any other files before he sells it, he must just ask.
