Trending: class action suit against EOS lip balm for blister allegations
Updated | By Tando Ntunja
Popular edible lip balm brand EOS has come under attack all over social media over allegations that it causes blisters and damages the skin.
Colour, packaging, the convenience of the size and the taste of EOS lip balm have made it one of the more popular brand lip balms to have in recent years.
Now the brand is the target of a class action lawsuit in the US for allegedly causing bleeding, cracking lips, loss of pigmentation and a host of other side effects.
EOS lip balms have been available in South Africa since 2014.
Reaction on Twitter has been largely supportive of the class action lawsuit
