Trolls doll to be removed from shelves after public outcry

There has been an outcry from parents all over the world about the inappropriate placement of a button on a doll. 

An online petition was created urging stores to remove the "Trolls World Tour Giggle and Sing Poppy" doll - accusing the toymaker of sexually grooming little children. 

A video of a mom demonstrating the doll's button, which when pressed activates the doll's voice, is what sparked the conversation. The button is placed underneath the doll's skirt, between its legs.

According to the toymaker, Hasbro, the intention for the placement of the button was merely to ensure that the voice is activated when the doll is seated. The company has decided to remove the toy from various stores in response to the outcry. 

Parents are concerned that the features on the doll could confuse kids about sexual abuse.
