Truck T-bones bakkie on the way to East London
The
traffic lights were working, so the bakkie was definitely in the wrong.
A video showing a truck crashing into a bakkie on the R72 towards East London has been doing the rounds online.

In the video, you see a white bakkie approach a set of traffic lights that were signaling for the driver to stop.
The driver did not pay attention though, and crept past the lights, and then a truck comes careening towards it.
The truck driver had outstanding reactions and managed to slow down enough so that when the truck crashed into the bakkie, the damage was minimal.
The truck driver also managed to keep control of the rig and avoid crashing into other cars on the road.

People praised the truck driver and commented: “wow!BIGUPS to the trucker he managed to save those other 2 cars he didnt squash them, what was that suv guy thinking?”.
