VIDEO: Shocking moment carnival ride breaks with people onboard
The pair were among hundreds of locals celebrating New Year's Eve before their night took a turn for the worse.
This is the shocking moment carnival-goers were injured after being flung from a ride when the mechanical arm of it snapped.

The incident took place in Antipolo, Philippines and in a video shared by New York Post, the pair can be seen enjoying a few rounds on the ride before the ride's arm broke mid flight. This resulted in the pair being injured. At the exact moment of the arm breaking, onlookers can be heard screaming in shock.
The two carnival-goers were sent to hospital. According to reports, the fair operators said they would cover the medical costs of the pair.
