Videos show people looting TVs during SA unrest

Videos and images are going viral of South Africans looting shops, shopping centres, and malls.
Former president Jacob Zuma’s arrest last week sparked protests by pro-Zuma supporters calling for his early release from the Estcourt prion.

This escalated to widespread looting and violence, the blocking of strategic roads between the two provinces, and damage to property.
The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) says 2,500 soldiers are to be deployed to violence-ridden hotspot areas.
South Africans have been gripped by harrowing images of burning trucks, looted retail shops, and buildings on fire.

Videos went viral on social media of looters taking TVs and other goods from shops.
Although many social media users argue that the protesters are not really calling for the release of the former president, some say these are criminals in disguise.
