Viral TikTok leaves men confused about secret period 'symptom'

Many women can attest to the abundance of side effects that come with periods. 

From bloating to cramping, aching legs, cravings, the emotional rollercoaster, pimples and most recently, the skin peeling, at least that's what this TikTokker wants men to believe...

TikTok user, @dfinkk posted a video of herself peeling the 'skin' on her face off, (definitely a peel-off mask) with the caption, "Throwback to when men didn't know we had to peel off layers of our skin after our period..." 

The video went viral amassing over 20 million views and 4.1 million likes. While most of us might know that this isn't an actual thing, the comments seem to indicate that most people were genuinely confused by this.

"Wait, that's a thing?" asked another.

"At first I thought this was a joke..." shared another user, "it's either y'all are really good at faking and joking, or I'm missing something."
