WATCH: Alleged Tornado terrifies residents in Swellendam, WC
Recently,
footage of what looks to be a huge tornado in the Western Cape has been doing
the rounds on social media.
In the video, you see a person looking out across a field at a huge column of dust and debris.

You can see debris being whirled around inside the vortex as the people look on in disbelief.
The vortex was also caught from another angle, and in this you can see a huge plume of dust at the base of the vortex with it extending into the sky.

Some were speculating is this was actually a tornado or rather a very large ‘Dust Devil’.
