WATCH: Baby rhino comforted as mom rhino has horn removed
To save the rhinos from becoming extinct, the anti-poaching unit has been de-horning adult rhinos so that poachers will no longer target them.
In a video shared by the Kruger National Park, we see a baby rhino being comforted by a veterinarian while its mother is being de-horned.

We can only imagine the fear young rhinos are forced to deal with when they see their parents getting killed brutally.
What a heartfelt moment captured on video, as we see the baby rhino react to his mom on the ground.

The vets on site did everything they could to reassure the little rhino that his mom would be okay.
