WATCH: Dad drops baby in elephant enclosure

A dad took his child into an elephant enclosure at a zoo and got chased by the animal.
The hair-raising moment was caught on camera and the footage shows the moment the elephant charged at the 25-year-old man, who was carrying his daughter in his arms.
The terrifying incident took place at the San Diego Zoo and the man has reportedly been arrested. He was charged with child endangerment and his court date has been set for March 30, CBS reported.

During the chase, the dad dropped his daughter while trying to escape. Jose Navarrete went through several barriers at the zoo on Friday with hopes of taking a photo with his two-year-old toddler and the elephant. The video was posted by CBS News and has since been shared by various other news outlets.
