A mother was just going about her day with her two young children when a hijacker targeted them - and then chaos ensued.

According to the Daily Mail, Melody Mondonaldo, 33, was on her way back to her car when the hijacker shoved her aside and stole her car with the two children inside.
Mondonaldo did not give up and decided to risk her life and jumped onto the bonnet of her car in an attempt to save her children.
