WATCH: Dog's birthday party reaches the next level

A Nigerian family has gained popularity online by showcasing their dog's first birthday celebration.

The family's love for their pet has reached a different level, as seen in a video shared by @lindaikejiblog on Instagram. 

The dog, known as Kash, wears a fancy birthday hat and is then presented with a cake before being made to blow out the candle. 

The video received mixed reactions, with @itzjay50 commenting: "Only pet lovers can understand such love! Your pet is a part of your family!"

We are not sure if the cake had real chocolate or not, but what we do know is Kash the dog enjoyed his birthday.
