A fast spreading fire that broke out in Missouri took over this family's home as a child was sleeping on the coach just metres away.

A video shared by New York Post shows a little girl sleeping on the coach in the living room as smoke quickly fills the room.
Thankfully, the alarm sounded before all the exits of the house became blocked by flames. The alarm from the smoke detector woke the little girl up.
The entire family made it out unharmed.
