WATCH: Man fights off thief with a gas canister

Sometimes it seems like crime is getting out of control, but this one worker managed to get some semblance of payback on the criminal.

In the video, you see a few workers offloading gas canisters from a truck when a man runs up to them and pulls a gun out.

While the robber was trying to get the workers to cooperate and give him what he wanted, one worker picked up a canister and threw it at him, knocking him down.

People loved the ingenuity and commented: “My guy felt like he was struck by lightning,” and “A brave man saved the day.”
