alleged thief was cornered by a group of men who assaulted him.
A video showing a man getting viciously beaten up by a group of men after allegedly stealing a phone has been going viral.

In the video, you see the alleged thief emerge from his Toyota when the group of men approach him shouting.
After a brief quarrel, one man lashes out and strikes the Toyota driver and a full-on brawl breaks out.
The men beat the man until he ends up on top of his car when one assailant jumps on his head.

The Toyota driver managed to make it into a store nearby and was held by guards while the attackers left.
