A spine-chilling video of a massive Nile crocodile turning on its handler in KZN has been doing the rounds on social media.

In the video, you see the handler, Sean, hop onto the beast’s back, and begin explaining that the crocodile has a 60cm bite area, in a tragic bit of foreshadowing.
As Sean continues his explanation, the other crocodile in the enclosure makes a move towards him, which makes him jump away.
The movement triggered the larger crocodile to snap at him, and his hand got caught in its mouth.
Sean let out a loud yelp of pain and scrambled away while a baby begins to wail in the background.

Sean was a true professional, and according to Crocodile Creek, “he sewed up the holes himself and came back to work 20mins later.”
