WATCH: Mom tells daughters "there's no such thing as virginity"
Updated | By Mack Rapapali Nights
A video of a mom telling the world that she's raising her daughters to believe that virginity is meaningless is going viral.
Cayce LaCorte, a mom to five girls, with ages ranging from 7 to 16, shared that she is raising her daughters to believe that virginity doesn’t really exist.
In a TikTok video, the mom says that the concept of virginity simply puts a lot of pressure on girls for the benefit of patriarchy.
“It is a patriarchal concept used to control women and serves no purpose — other than making women feel bad about ourselves. Just because some guy randomly sticks his penis in you at some point in your life does not change your worth, it does not change who you are, it doesn’t do anything other than it happened.”

She further shares that having sex for the first time does not change a person. It doesn't make a woman less honourable or worthy. This however doesn't mean that the mom believes that sex isn't important.
“Sex is important. It’s a big deal. It should always be a big deal. It has nothing to do with your first time…it’s just ridiculous. The whole concept is ridiculous.” - LaCorte shared in the video.

Women who were watching the video praised LaCorte for her stance and some shared their experiences about how their first time wasn't their choice.
