A video by @ArriveAlive.co.za was shared on Facebook, showing a near-hijacking scene at a petrol station, warning drivers to always be vigilant.

In the video, a man is filling up his car when suddenly a white minibus stops and thugs get out attempting to steal his car.
With his quick thinking, he used the petrol hose to splash the thugs with petrol to prevent them from getting his car.

People on social media applauded him for thinking on his feet. Some weighed in that it is better to pay the petrol bill than to buy a new car.
