WATCH: Pedestrian killed after taxi ploughs into car
A pedestrian was killed when a minibus taxi collided with a light motor vehicle in Durban.
CCTV footage captured the moment a minibus taxi ploughed into a car at a traffic light in central Ballito, north of Durban, and killed a pedestrian during the weekend.
According to Times Live, IPSS Medical Rescue spokesman Paul Herbst said medics went to the scene, near the town’s Lifestyle Centre and found the woman deceased at the scene.
In the horrific video, after the minibus collided with the smaller vehicle, it veered onto the pavement and collided with two pedestrians, killing one woman. One passenger jumped out of the minibus in a panic to check on the other victims and made the grisly discovery.
